I'm doing some things to raise money for Cavernoma Alliance through Heart's 30 in 30.
As some of you will know, one of my gorgeous nieces suffers with cavernous angiomas, abnormal blood cells on the brain that can bleed and lead to seizures and haemorrhages.
The Heart 30 in 30 fundraising runs from 7 September to 6 October, during which time I will be:
1) Walking to and from work every day (that's a 3 hour, 10-mile round trip. I'll be investing in some nice knee medicines for my aching bones)
2) Offering out my services for periods of 30 minutes at a minimum cost of 30p/minute (that's 9 of your English pounds, buckos). As long as it's not illegal, I'll do it: you want some washing up doing? A wonky shelf putting up? A lip-synch video to the whole of Slayer's Reign in Blood? Excellent hula-hooping at your next gig? Spell and grammar check on your tinder profile? I'm your woman. (NB, there will be some days I'm not at work, so I'm hoping to make up the shortfall with exciting activities).
3) Random flash sales of things that I find around the house, or maybe even in the street.
Give me all your money! Please, and thank you.
